York Region District School Board seeks community input for 2023-24 school year budget

Now is your chance to have a say in how York Region District School Board spends its money.

Parents, guardians and other community members are invited to take part in the board’s annual consultation process for 2023-24 budget.

Virtual public budget consultations are taking place on April 17 and April 19 at 7 p.m. Registration information is available on the board’s website.

Community members are welcome to attend a virtual public budget consultation and fill out an online survey by going to www2.yrdsb.ca/board-plans/budgets/budget-consultations.

The survey is open until April 26 and available in several languages.

The survey results and consultations provide the board with important information about how the community wants the board to use its funding to support student achievement and well-being in York Region. The results will be used to help determine the 2023-24 school year budget allocation.
