The Aurora Cultural Centre is looking for people interested in a career producing professional performing arts for a paid mentorship opportunity.
The mentorship will be under the guidance of Derek Andrews, performing arts programmer, and will offer real-world experience in programming research, contracting, artist support and producing.
Selection for the associate mentorship in performing arts programming position will prioritize applicants from racialized or marginalized communities with lived experience or experience working with these communities.
Skill sets that match the role and values that fit the organization are still the dominant factors in the cultural centre’s recruitment.
The contract is for eight months between May and December 2023. The deadline to apply is April 11 at 4 p.m.
