Have planning questions? Book an appointment with King planning department's new online system

Residents can now book an appointment online for planning inquiries in King.

Residents, builders, realtors, agents, consultants and businesses looking for information from the planning department can go to www.king.ca/AskKingPlanning.

The user can select a date and time for an appointment with a township planner and provide general information about the nature of their inquiry. They will receive an email confirmation of their appointment time and then a reminder on the day of the appointment.

The system allows for customers to choose to be contacted by video/remote link, email, phone or in person. The township planner will contact them at the appointment time to discuss their questions.

“Online bookings will provide increased convenience and efficiency for anyone seeking information from the planning division of King Township. It’s another example of our ongoing commitment to enhance citizen-focused customer service,” said Mayor Steve Pellegrini.

The online booking system is meant to support citizens and the public who are home or property owners who have specific questions or comments related to their property or other lands in King, require support in navigating the planning and/or development process or are realtors, architects, designers or consultants with questions on behalf of their clients.

The booking system is not for inquiries by applicants, consultants or agents with respect to an existing proposal or application that has already been submitted to the township. Inquiries of that nature need to be directed to the planner managing the specific file.
