It’s time to celebrate King’s volunteers.

Nominations are open for the 2023 King Volunteer Appreciation Awards.

Every year a volunteer appreciation night is hosted by the township to honour citizens who give their time to the betterment of the community.

King held an in-person event in 2022 following the lifting of pandemic restrictions. The event will again be hosted in-person in the spring of 2023.

The award categories are: citizen of the year, special recognition award, nonresident, senior citizen award of merit, lifetime achievement and youth award of merit.

Nominations close on March 13.
