Aurora Town Park hosts Arctic Adventure, free activities this Family Day weekend

Aurora Town Park, located at 49 Wells St., is the place to be this Family Day weekend.
The community is invited to take part in the town's annual Arctic Adventure from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sat. Feb. 18. Enjoy free hot chocolate, animal antics at the ‘Speaking of Wildlife’ show, family campfires, lit-up igloos and two different story walks around the park.
Then, on Mon. Feb. 20, return for a full day of activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. New this year, the Great Canadian Lumberjacks will host two shows. Other activities include outdoor skating (helmets recommended), snow tubing, a hockey shootout and Nerf axe throwing station, 'Snow Wars activities,' inflatables, a fire juggling show and another 'Speaking of Wildlife' presentation.
