Celebrate new year at Newmarket mayor's levee

You're invited to celebrate the new year with skating, a concert, fire busker performances and prizes at the annual Newmarket mayor's levee Jan. 13 at Riverwalk Commons.

Newmarket Mayor John Taylor and councillors are welcoming the community to join them to celebrate the start of 2023 on Friday, Jan. 13 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. outdoors at 200 Doug Duncan Dr.

Family activities include a outdoor skating, live outdoor concert performance by Glenn Marais and the Mojo Train, raffle prizes, fire and LED performances by Zola Molotov, and free beaver tails and hot chocolate while quantities last.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
