Metrolinx will be holding a virtual open house to introduce the Queen Street-Highway 7 Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, a proposed rapid transit line in Brampton and Vaughan.
The project's study area covers a 24-kilometre corridor along Queen Street and Highway 7, which would create an east-to-west transit spine connecting the northwest and north-central sections of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA).
The Queen Street -- Highway 7 Bus Transit project team will also provide timelines on the work completed to date and work in progress during the virtual live meeting presentation on Thursday, Jan. 26.
This is the first round of public engagement, where project experts will be able to answer questions from the community.
Prior to the event, the public will also have an opportunity to post their questions and vote on those they would like answered. The questions with the most votes will be addressed during the open house.
The virtual live meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The public can register for the virtual live meeting on Metrolinx's website.
