The City of Vaughan is furthering its commitment to road safety this month.
The municipality is conducting six in-service road safety and corridor operational reviews (otherwise known as corridor reviews) and is looking for input from residents.
Corridors are defined as linear stretches of road and its associated land use. This can include a main roadway and any sidewalks, bike lanes, green space, and/or bus stops located on that roadway.
The six areas being reviewed are as follows:
Maps are available for each of the study areas.
The goal of these reviews is to help city staff make recommendations on short- and long-term implementation plans to address the specific issues identified in these areas, which will be presented before city council for approval.
Residents can register for one of the four upcoming virtual information sessions.
