WEATHER
It's going to be a sunny Monday morning to start your work week, according to Environment Canada.

There will be a mix of sun and clouds this morning, with winds gusting from the southwest at 20km/h to 40 km/h and becoming light this afternoon.

There will be a high of plus 5 but wind chill making it feel like minus 10.

Tonight will be cloudy, according to Environment Canada. The forecast is predicting periods of rain staring overnight. The temperature will remain steady at about plus 4.

PLANNED ROAD CLOSURES
Expect delays or adjust your route: The Ministry of Transportation has scheduled the following closures in York Region on Dec. 2 for roadwork on Hwy. 400, Hwy. 404, Hwy. 427, Hwy. 48 and Hwy. 9.

Hwy. 400 northbound at Major Mackenzie Drive: three alternating lanes closed until Dec. 3 at 5 a.m.

Hwy. 400 northbound between King Road and King Truck Inspection Station: two right lanes closed until Dec. 3 at 10 a.m.

Hwy. 400 northbound on-ramp at Major Mackenzie Drive: all lanes closed until Dec. 3 at 5 a.m.

Hwy. 400 southbound at Langstaff Road: one alternating lane closed until Dec. 2 at 2 p.m.

Hwy. 400 southbound at Major Mackenzie Drive: three alternating lanes closed until Dec. 3 at 5 a.m.

Hwy. 400 southbound between Aurora Road and King Road: two right lanes closed until Dec. 3 at 5 a.m.

Hwy. 400 southbound between Hwy. 7 and Finch Avenue: three alternating lanes closed until Dec. 4 at 10 a.m.

Hwy. 400 southbound between Langstaff Road and Hwy. 7: one alternating lane closed until Dec. 4 at 12 p.m.

Hwy. 400 southbound express at Langstaff Road: one alternating lane closed until Dec. 2 at 2 p.m.

Hwy. 400 southbound on-ramp at Major Mackenzie Drive: all lanes closed until Dec. 3 at 5 a.m.
