2 people taken to hospital in Vaughan house fire, Ontario Fire Marshal investigating

The Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of a house fire in Vaughan that resulted in two people being sent to hospital.
On Dec. 13, Vaughan Fire and Rescue Services was called to a detached home on Glen Shields Avenue at about 12:30 p.m.
According to a representative of the City of Vaughan, five units, 20 firefighters and two chief officers responded to the incident.
Two people were removed from the home, and CPR was performed on one of them before both were taken to Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital.
York Region Paramedics were also on scene.
The fire has been put out, and fire crews are processing the building.
York Regional Police and Ontario Fire Marshal have been notified of the incident, and an investigation into the cause of fire is ongoing.
