Richmond Hill is taking steps toward becoming an age-friendly community, so everyone can participate and feel included in city life. The city is now accepting applications for members to join Richmond Hill’s first-ever age-friendly community council.
In 2021, the City held community consultations to help identify issues facing the aging population in our community. Richmond Hill Council received the age-friendly community needs assessment in May 2022, supporting the establishment of an age-friendly community council to help create the goals and recommendations for an age-friendly community strategy.
