From the use of recreational facilities to land development, the City of Richmond Hills strives to ensure all those who live and work here have equal access to and have a say in the city’s policies and services.
How’s the city doing in terms of equity and inclusion? Do you have a positive or a negative experience to share with the city?
Richmond Hill is seeking the public’s feedback through an online survey and two in-person workshops as part of the development of its first Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy and Action Plan.
Richmond Hill’s Equity and Inclusion Survey is available from Nov. 16 to Dec. 8, 2022. Participants are invited to share their thoughts on how the city can improve equity and inclusion in our services.
Visit RichmondHill.ca/Diversity to complete the survey and be entered in a draw for a chance to win one of two $50 Visa gift cards.
The city is hosting two workshops to engage in more detailed discussions with residents about how city services can become more equitable and inclusive.
Participants will have an opportunity to hear about the plans for building Richmond Hill’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy, and to share insights and personal experiences that will help shape our path forward.
Virtual online workshop -- Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022 from 7 to 9 p.m.
