Woman suffers life-threatening injuries after being hit by SUV in Vaughan

Police ask witnesses to come forward

A 73-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries after she was hit by an SUV in Vaughan.

The woman was taken to hospital where she remains in serious condition.

On Oct. 29 just after 7 p.m., police were called to the intersection of Embassy Drive and Aberdeen Avenue after a pedestrian was struck by a white Chevrolet Tahoe.

A 42-year-old woman who was driving the vehicle stayed at the scene and was not injured, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who haven’t spoken with police yet or anyone who might have dashcam footage from the area are being asked to come forward.
