York police seeking witnesses following 3-vehicle crash in Vaughan

25-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries in collision

York Regional Police is looking for witnesses after a “serious” three-vehicle crash in Vaughan.

On Oct. 29 at about 11 p.m,. police were called to Rutherford Road and Thornhill Woods Drive after a white Ford Focus, grey Honda Civic and blue Jeep Grand Cherokee were involved in a collision.

The driver of the Focus, a 25-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Jeep, a 62-year-old man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries and the occupants of the Civic were not injured, police said.

Police are looking to identify witnesses who were in the area when the collision happened or anyone who saw driving behaviours leading up to the collision.

The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who haven’t spoken to police yet or anyone who has dashcam video from the area are asked to come forward.

Police have opened a digital evidence portal where members of the community can upload any photos, surveillance or dashcam video of the collision. Evidence can be uploaded directly to investigators at www.yrp.ca.evidence.com/axon/citizen/public/22-342887.
