Halloween Haunt and Camp Spooky are back at Canada’s Wonderland. This year will feature the return of mazes as well as a new Day of the Dead festival.

HALLOWEEN HAUNT

Canada Wonderland’s Halloween Haunt is returning for its 17th season on Friday, Sept. 23 with hundreds of monsters, eight scare zones, five mazes, and eight shows.

There are two new attractions this year for Halloween Haunt. One is an homage to Mexican festival Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead festival. Every night this year during Halloween Haunt, there will be a musical parade, costumes, and specialty food and a cultural dance and story performance by the Mexican Folks Ballet.

The other attraction will be a new maze. Dubbed “Pandemonium,” the attraction is maze of dark tunnels under the mountain where creatures of the pit awaken.

To increase safety this year during Halloween Haunt, customers will be asked to adhere to a new policy which states that no bags of any kind larger than 6.5 inches by 4.5 inches by two inches may be brought into the park after 6 p.m. on Halloween Haunt nights.

Halloween Haunt runs on select nights from 7 p.m. to midnight between Sept. 23 and Oct. 30. For more info on Halloween Haunt, visit www.canadaswonderland.com/haunt.
