Intersection improvements to Kennedy and Bridle Trail in Markham in time for back to school

As kids get ready to go back to school, intersection improvements have been implemented at the Kennedy Road and Bridle Trail intersection in Markham to help improve pedestrian safety. The changes include no right turns on a red light in all directions, pedestrian head start in east and west directions, and more green time for crossing during morning and afternoon school bell times. The changes were made in by York Region in collaboration with York Regional Police, City of Markham and York Region District School Board.
