WHY HAVE YOU DECIDED TO RUN?

It’s important to have leadership that reflects the ever changing and diverse education system. I believe I can impact change to what is important for families, bridging the gap of what happens at home and how it translates into the well-being of all students at school.

HOW WILL YOU EMBRACE AND CHAMPION DIVERSITY?

I will co-facilitate building partnerships among students, staff and community members to ensure that all students can succeed by having equitable access to programs and resources and increased opportunities that lead to student learning outcomes.

This collaboration will result in employing student and family voice to inform the process, ensuring equity of access to learning and developing explicit plans for success for underserved students.

In the first 100 days I plan to prioritize student success by liaising with all school and community stakeholders to impact access, opportunities and to foster positive change for all students. My aim is to first develop and establish a transparent communication plan with all.
