Plan your commute before you’re in your car: The Ministry of Transportation has scheduled 13 closures in York Region on Sept. 28 for roadwork on Highway 400, Highway 404, Highway 427, Highway 48 and Highway 9.
- Highway 400 northbound between King Road and Highway 9: two alternating lanes closed until Oct. 1 at 7 a.m.
- Highway 400 southbound between Highway 9 and King Road: two alternating lanes closed until Oct. 1 at 10 a.m.
- Highway 404 northbound at Boag Road: one alternating lane closed until Sept. 30 at 6 a.m.
- Highway 404 southbound between Highway 7 and Steeles Avenue: four alternating lanes closed until Oct. 1 at 5 a.m.
- Highway 404 southbound express between Woodbine Avenue and York Mills Road: one alternating lane closed until Sept. 30 at 5 a.m.
- Highway 427 northbound off-ramp at Major Mackenzie Drive: one alternating lane closed until Sept. 28 at 2 p.m.
- Highway 427 southbound between Major Mackenzie Drive and Finch Avenue: two alternating lanes closed until Oct. 1 at 5:30 a.m.
- Highway 48 northbound at Stouffville Road: two right lanes closed until Oct. 2 at 11:59 p.m.
- Highway 48 northbound between Queensville Road and Boag Road: one alternating lane closed until Sept. 29 at 4 p.m.
- Highway 48 southbound at Stouffville Road: one right lane closed until Oct. 2 at 11:59 p.m.
- Highway 48 southbound between Boag Road and Queensville Road: one alternating lane closed until Sept. 29 at 5 p.m.
- Highway 9 eastbound between King Township Concession 8 and West Canal Bank Road: one alternating lane closed from Sept. 28 at 9 a.m. until Sept. 29 at 3 p.m.
- Highway 9 westbound at West Canal Bank Road: one alternating lane closed from Sept. 28 at 9 a.m. until Sept. 29 at 3 p.m.
