WHY HAVE YOU DECIDED TO RUN?

As a child I loved learning which led me to become a teacher, a Vice Principal, a Principal and finally a School Superintendent of Education, combined with my desire to help others. With over 3 decades of experience in education that desire is still my passion and desire to make a difference for children.

HOW WILL YOU EMBRACE AND CHAMPION DIVERSITY?

Through my lived experience combined with my knowledge of inclusivity, diversity, and equitable practice, I readily embrace opportunities to become involved, to give a voice to various committees’ example dismantling anti-black racism, the overall hate racism strategies to guarantee new perspectives, ideas, and positive solutions are brought to the table are included regardless of ability, culture, gender, race, religion, and status.

Cotninue to have open and honest communication, whilst advocating and inspiring all stake holders.

Continue collaborating and learning with fellow trustees and staff to safeguard policies and procedures are equitable, ethical, transparent and in the best interest of children, parents, and staff.

Continue listening to parents and the community to give them a voice in the board room.
