Don’t get stuck in traffic: The Ministry of Transportation has scheduled 15 closures in York Region on Sept. 2 for roadwork on Highway 400, Highway 404, Highway 427 and Highway 48.
- Highway 400 northbound between King Road and Highway 9: two alternating lanes closed until Sept. 2 at 7 a.m.
- Highway 400 southbound between Highway 9 and King Road: two alternating lanes closed until Sept. 2 at 5 a.m.
- Highway 404 southbound between Highway 7 and Steeles Avenue: four alternating lanes closed until Sept. 2 at 5 a.m.
- Highway 404 southbound between Woodbine Avenue and York Mills Road: one alternating lane closed until Sept. 2 at 5 a.m.
- Highway 427 northbound between Rutherford Road and Major Mackenzie Drive: all lanes closed until Sept. 2 at 5 a.m.
- Highway 427 southbound between Major Mackenzie Drive and Finch Avenue: two alternating lanes closed until Sept. 2 at 5:30 a.m.

- Highway 48 northbound between Aurora Road and Queensville Road: one alternating lane closed until Sept. 2 at 6 a.m.
- Highway 48 northbound between Elgin Mills Road and Aurora Road: one alternating lane closed until Sept. 2 at 7 a.m.
- Highway 48 northbound between Queensville Road and Durham Road 23 / Lake Ridge Road: one alternating lane closed until Sept. 2 at 7 a.m.
- Highway 48 southbound at Stouffville Road: one right lane closed until Sept. 2 at 12 p.m.
