WHY HAVE YOU DECIDED TO RUN?

I love Vaughan! I bring a passion for tackling community issues and new developments that were not initially compatible with our city’s planning commitments to residents. As an experienced and engaged community leader, I have the ability to help the residents of Vaughan to improve their quality of life.

HOW WILL YOU EMBRACE AND CHAMPION DIVERSITY?

We embrace and champion diversity by ensuring all residents in Vaughan are treated fairly and with respect when engaging in city affairs and in our everyday lives. When our city works together as one people, we can achieve anything we put our mind to.

WHAT ARE YOUR TOP THREE ISSUES?

New development projects, traffic congestion, and increased property taxes are the top three issues at the doors in this election. Our councillor had twelve years to address these issues but has not acted. I am running to work with residents on addressing these issues.

IF ELECTED, WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH IN YOUR FIRST 100 DAYS?

We will initiate public meetings for all community residents, get their input on local issues, and work toward addressing them with City staff and outside organizations. Numerous outstanding issues from residents found during our canvassing of Ward 3 will be actioned.
