After going two years without the popular beer festival in Richmond Hill, the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill brought back the fun event, along with drinks and live music on a hot summer weekend.
A crowd of beer lovers and festivalgoers attended the Richmond Hill Rotary Craft Beer Festival, held at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, on Aug. 13.
This year’s festivities featured craft breweries from all around Ontario, along with craft ciders and spirits, at the seven-hour event starting from 4 p.m.
“The beverages, food, and music together created a fantastic atmosphere and it was exciting to meet some of the #rhbeer2022 brewers,” Richmond Hill Mayor David West posted on social media from the event.
He was seen attending the festival with council colleagues Raika Sheppard and Godwin Chan.
While enjoying a variety of summer drinks, people also got to enjoy live entertainment hosted by MC Liam Kelly with musical acts Flyball Governor Band, Jimmy Miller and the Buzz and more.
Local restaurants Aneal’s Taste of the Islands and King Henry’s Arms offered some delicious hand-held eats.
All proceeds from this event will go to local and international charitable projects, supported by the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill.
