York Region highway closures for planned roadwork (Aug. 5)

Expect delays, especially during heavy traffic periods: The Ministry of Transportation has scheduled 18 closures in York Region on Aug. 5 for roadwork on Highway 400, Highway 404, Highway 427 and Highway 48.

• Highway 400 northbound between King Road and Aurora Road: two alternating lanes closed until Aug. 7 at 9 a.m.
• Highway 400 northbound between King Road and Highway 9: two alternating lanes closed until Aug. 6 at 7 a.m.
• Highway 400 northbound between Kirby Road and King Road: one right lane closed until Aug. 5 at 7 a.m.
• Highway 400 southbound between Aurora Road and King Road: two alternating lanes closed until Aug. 7 at 9 a.m.
• Highway 400 southbound between Highway 9 and King Road: two alternating lanes closed until Aug. 6 at 10 a.m.
• Highway 400 southbound between King Road and Service Centre Maple Onroute southbound: one right lane closed until Aug. 5 at 7 a.m.
• Highway 404 southbound between 16th Avenue and Beaver Creek: two left lanes closed until Aug. 5 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 404 southbound between Highway 7 and Steeles Avenue: four alternating lanes closed until Aug. 6 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 404 southbound between Woodbine Avenue and York Mills Road: one alternating lane closed until Aug. 10 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 404 southbound off-ramp at 16th Avenue: all lanes closed until Aug. 5 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 404 southbound off-ramp at 407: one right lane closed until Aug. 5 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 404 southbound on-ramp at 16th Avenue: all lanes closed until Aug. 5 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 427 southbound between Highway 407 and Finch Avenue: one right lane closed from Aug. 5 at 8 p.m. until Aug. 6 at 7 a.m.
• Highway 427 southbound between Highway 407 and Finch Avenue: one right lane closed until Aug. 5 at 6 a.m.
• Highway 427 southbound between Major Mackenzie Drive and Finch Avenue: two alternating lanes closed until Aug. 7 at 5:30 a.m.
• Highway 48 northbound at Stouffville Road: two right lanes closed until Aug. 7 at 11:59 p.m.
• Highway 48 northbound between Riverview Beach Road and Durham Road 23 / Lake Ridge Road: one alternating lane closed until Aug. 6 at 7 a.m.
