York Region highway closures for planned roadwork

Expect delays along the following routes: The Ministry of Transportation has scheduled 11 closures in York Region on Aug. 3 for roadwork on Highway 400, Highway 404, Highway 427 and Highway 48.

• Highway 400 northbound between King Road and Aurora Road: two alternating lanes closed until Aug. 7 at 9 a.m.
• Highway 400 northbound between King Road and Highway 9: two alternating lanes closed until Aug. 6 at 7 a.m.
• Highway 400 northbound between Kirby Road and King Road: one right lane closed until Aug. 5 at 7 a.m.
• Highway 400 southbound between Aurora Road and King Road: two alternating lanes closed until Aug. 7 at 9 a.m.
• Highway 400 southbound between Highway 9 and King Road: two alternating lanes closed until Aug. 6 at 10 a.m.
• Highway 400 southbound between King Road and Service Centre Maple Onroute southbound: one right lane closed until Aug. 5 at 7 a.m.
• Highway 404 southbound between Highway 7 and Steeles Avenue: four alternating lanes closed until Aug. 6 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 427 southbound between Major Mackenzie Drive and Finch Avenue: two alternating lanes closed until Aug. 7 at 5:30 a.m.
• Highway 48 northbound at Stouffville Road: two right lanes closed until Aug. 7 at 11:59 p.m.
• Highway 48 northbound between Riverview Beach Road and Durham Road 23 / Lake Ridge Road: one alternating lane closed from Aug. 3 at 10 p.m. until Aug. 6 at 7 a.m.
• Highway 48 southbound at Stouffville Road: one right lane closed until Aug. 7 at 11:59 p.m.
