UPDATE: Canada--wide warrant issued for man sought in double homicide at Vaughan nightclub

Mississauga man wanted on 2 counts of first degree murder, 1 count of attempted murder

York Regional Police has issued a Canada--wide arrest warrant for a Mississauga man following a double homicide at a Vaughan nightclub.

On July 23 at about 3:30 a.m. two men, acting as security guards at the ATL Lounge, at Hwy. 7 and Keele Street, were shot to death and a woman, 20, who was a patron, was left badly injured following a fight inside the club.

The two men killed were subsequently identified as Tosin Amos--Arowoshegbe, 25, of Toronto and Chibueze Momah, 22, of Mississauga. The woman was taken to hospital and is in stable condition.

York police, who said the incident was "targeted", were able to identify a suspect after releasing images and videos obtained from the scene. The other person in the images is described by police as the suspect's acquaintance.

Kensworth Alton Francis, 27, of Mississauga, is wanted for two counts of first--degree murder and one count of attempted murder. Police said he is considered armed and dangerous and if you see him, do not approach him.

Investigators continue to seek any cellphone video or photographs from inside or outside the establishment or video surveillance or dashcam images from the area or on the roadways.
