Highway closures for York Region this week (July 3)

Expect delays along these routes: your weekly roundup of Ontario highway closures for new and ongoing construction in York Region, including Markham, Vaughan, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Aurora and King.

Highway 404 southbound between Woodbine Avenue and York Mills Road: one alternating lane closed until July 10 at 5 a.m.

Highway 9 westbound between Jane Street and Peel Regional Road 50: all lanes closed until July 8 at 6 a.m.

Closures are scheduled by the Ministry of Transportation for the improvement, maintenance and repair of provincial highways, ramps and bridges.

The resulting disruptions may be intermittent or ongoing, and are subject to change due to weather, emergencies and other factors.
