Avoid traffic jams before they occur: The Ministry of Transportation has scheduled 54 closures in Toronto on July 15 for roadwork on Highway 400, Highway 401, Highway 404, Highway 409, Highway 427 and Queen Elizabeth Way.

• Highway 400 northbound between Finch Avenue and Highway 7: three alternating lanes closed until July 17 at 9 a.m.
• Highway 400 northbound between Maple Leaf Drive and Canal Road: one alternating lane closed until July 15 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 400 northbound on-ramp at Jane Street: all lanes closed until Nov. 25 at 4 p.m.
• Highway 400 southbound off-ramp at Finch Avenue: all lanes closed until July 16 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 401 eastbound at Allen Road: one left lane closed until July 16 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 401 eastbound at McCowan Road: one left lane closed until July 15 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 401 eastbound between Avenue Road and Yonge Street: one right lane closed July 15 at 11 p.m. until July 16 at 7 a.m.
• Highway 401 eastbound between Highway 427 and Islington Avenue: three alternating lanes closed until July 16 at 8 a.m.
• Highway 401 eastbound between Leslie Street and Warden Avenue: three alternating lanes closed until July 16 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 401 eastbound express between Jane Street and Avenue Road: all lanes closed until July 16 at 5 a.m.
