Plan your commute before you’re on the road: The Ministry of Transportation has scheduled 20 closures in York Region on July 7 for roadwork on Highway 400, Highway 404, Highway 427, Highway 48, Highway 7 and Highway 9.
- Highway 400 northbound between King Road and Aurora Road: two alternating lanes closed July 7 at 8 p.m. until July 10 at 9 a.m.
- Highway 400 northbound between King Road and Aurora Road: two alternating lanes closed until July 10 at 9 a.m.
- Highway 400 northbound between King Road and Highway 9: two alternating lanes closed until July 9 at 7 a.m.
- Highway 400 northbound between Major Mackenzie Drive and Service Centre King City Onroute northbound: one alternating lane closed until July 8 at 7 a.m.
- Highway 400 southbound between Aurora Road and King Road: two alternating lanes closed July 7 at 7 p.m. until July 10 at 9 a.m.
- Highway 400 southbound between Highway 7 and Finch Avenue: three alternating lanes closed until July 10 at 10 a.m.
- Highway 400 southbound between Highway 9 and King Road: two alternating lanes closed until July 9 at 10 a.m.
- Highway 400 southbound between King Township Road 16 and King Road: two alternating lanes closed until July 10 at 9 a.m.
- Highway 400 southbound between Service Centre King City Onroute northbound and Major Mackenzie Drive: one alternating lane closed until July 8 at 7 a.m.
- Highway 404 northbound between John Street and Highway 7: one left lane closed until July 9 at 6 a.m.
- Highway 404 southbound at John Street: one right lane closed July 7 at 10 p.m. until July 8 at 7 a.m.
- Highway 404 southbound between Highway 7 and Steeles Avenue: four left lanes closed until July 9 at 5 a.m.
- Highway 404 southbound between Rouge River and 16th Avenue: one right lane closed July 7 at 9 p.m. until July 8 at 5 a.m.
- Highway 404 southbound between Woodbine Avenue and York Mills Road: one alternating lane closed until July 10 at 5 a.m.
- Highway 427 southbound between Major Mackenzie Drive and Finch Avenue: two alternating lanes closed July 7 at 9 p.m. until July 11 at 5:30 a.m.
- Highway 48 northbound at Stouffville Road: two left lanes closed until July 17 at 11:59 p.m.
- Highway 48 northbound between Little Rouge River and Highway 12 South Junction: one alternating lane closed until July 11 at 6 a.m.
- Highway 48 southbound at Stouffville Road: one right lane closed until July 17 at 11:59 p.m.
- Highway 7 eastbound between Reesor Road / 10th Line and Christopher Street: one alternating lane closed until July 11 at 6 a.m.
