The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association is hosting the first ever Ahmadiyya International Games from June 26 to July 1 at various venues in Vaughan, including outside the Baitul Islam Mosque.
This exciting, large-scale tournament is the first of its kind and will be attended by thousands of Muslim youth from across Canada and around the world, according to the Maple-based youth group.
The tournament includes individual and team sports, such as track and field, basketball, volleyball, tennis, outdoor wrestling and much more.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association says these sporting events aim to achieve a sense of unity, community and social interaction among youth.
Several elected officials, dignitaries and community leaders are expected to attend. For more information, check out the official Twitter at @AMYASports.
