Premier Doug Ford unveils his new cabinet Friday morning at the Ontario legislature.

Ford, whose Progressive Conservatives were re-elected June 2 with an increased majority, is appointing a new health minister to replace the retired Christine Elliott and is expected to make other changes to the executive council.

He said earlier this week the government would hit the ground running with a summer legislative session.

“We have a lot of work cut out for us, we’re going to be swearing in our cabinet Friday,” the premier told reporters Tuesday.

The Star’s Queen’s Park bureau will have complete coverage of the new cabinet, including winners and losers.
