All the rage: It's time to show your Pride in Georgina

The third annual Georgina Pride Ride is back again. And it's bigger and better this year.

The full-day community event on June 11 kicks off with a Gay-Rage sale at 73 Biscayne Blvd.., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Gay-Rage sale features several local vendors and a charity barbecue hosted by The Gold Door Collection, with proceeds supporting Georgina Pride.

Along with vendors, there will also be music, raffles and a swag bag for the first 200 people.

Following the Gay-Rage sale, parade participants are invited to decorate their parade vehicles at Keswick High School, 100 Biscayne Blvd., starting at 11 a.m. There are plenty of festivities taking place across the street from the school.

There will also be special guest appearances by E’Claire Devereaux and Carmen Del Rae, two drag queens from Haus of Deveraux.

The parade rolls out at 3 p.m. sharp from Keswick High School, then travels along Biscayne Boulevard and meanders through town before ending at The ROC, 26479 Civic Centre Rd.

The day ends with a post-parade community barbecue hosted by York Regional Police.
