A new recreation pass validation system is coming to Aurora.
The new system will be in place as of June 1 and will offer a streamlined purchasing and check-in process for facility users at the Aurora Family Leisure Complex and the Stronach Aurora Recreation Centre.
Users will not need to be concerned about losing their drop-in tickets or forgetting their recreation membership card.
The system will assist recreation customer service staff in managing recreation memberships and admissions for drop-in activities.
All facility users have until Sept. 1 to get a new key tag or exchange their old access fob. Tags are available at the customer service counters at both facilities.
The new tag will be linked to users’ e-PLAY account with their specific membership and/or ticket information, personal information and photo.
There is no cost for a new key tag, but there is a replacement fee if the tag is lost or damaged.
