Rides, games and fun for whole family promised at Newmarket's Persechini Charity Midway May 12 to 15

Proceeds go to Easter Seals, which supports children with disabilities, and Southlake hospital

If you’re looking for a weekend of thrills, head over to the Magna Centre.

The Joe Persechini Charity Midway is promising four days of carnival rides, games and fun for the whole family from May 12 to 15.

The event is hosted by Campbell Amusements and sponsored by the Easter Seal Society of Ontario., which supports children and youth with disabilities.

Proceeds from the midway support Easter Seals and Southlake Regional Health Centre.

The fun kicks off May 12 at 4 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. that night.

The midway continues May 13 from 2 to 10 p.m., May 14 from noon to 11 p.m. and May 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Single ride coupons cost $1.50, while a book of 20 tickets sells for $25 and a book of 50 coupons goes for $50.
