THE RIDING
King-Vaughan: The riding of King-Vaughan was created in 2015 and covers a land area of 426 square kilometres. It consists of King Township south of Highway 9 and Davis Drive West. It also consists of the north and east parts of Vaughan. The riding had a population of just under 132,000, according to the 2016 census.
THE RACE
Ontario PC party: Stephen Lecce
Liberal party: Gillian Vivona
Green party: Ren Guidolin
THE ISSUES
Three of the biggest issues for King-Vaughan include congestion and gridlock, cost of living, and environment and climate change.
BACKGROUND
Stephen Lecce (PC) has served as MPP for King-Vaughan since his election in 2018. He served as minister of education since 2019.
