KidsFest TO comes to Markham Fairgrounds this Victoria Day weekend

Family fun included in admission cost of $20 per person for advance tickets

It's all about great family fun as KidsFest TO kicks off its spring edition at Markham Fairgrounds for the May long weekend, May 21 to 23.

The best thing about it, besides all the family entertainment, is that we can finally get back to doing all the things that we missed during the last two years.

"One thing that our Easter Fun Fest event proved was that people in Ontario are looking for family fun events these days," said Evan Aranoff, show producer. "That's why we decided to launch a spring edition of our popular KidsFest this year, despite Family Day having passed."

The KidsFest TO Spring Edition is an outdoor event with kiddie rides, inflatable slides, fun games, food, a range of children's and family entertainment, and a train ride.

New to KidsFest is the "Photo Op Field," which features giant inflatables, including a 15-foot high plush teddy bear, emojis and more.

Admission costs $20 per person if you buy your tickets in advance. Children under two years old are free (admission only, no rides). Parking is free, while food merchants, vendors and games are an extra charge.

Visitors will find 30 inflatables, plus rides, rock climbing, and other attractions all outdoors. There will also be a variety of food trucks and vendors with tasty treats.

The KidsFest TO Spring Edition features three days of family fun for children 12 years old and younger, from the slides and rides to educational and musical stage shows.

Shows by the renowned President's Choice SuperDogs take place at KidsFest daily in the Markham Fairgrounds Arena. The not-to-miss amazing canine antics will have everyone smiling. Other fun things to do at KidsFest include live entertainment on the main stage, interactive activities, games, crafts, a petting zoo, face painting, and fun and educational presentations.

This year’s event marks the 12th edition of KidsFest. It is organized by Superior Events Group, a North American leader in interactive amusement and planners of family events including Pumpkinfest Toronto, Easter Fun Fest and Foodalicious.

KidsFest will be at the Fairgrounds, 10801 McCowan Rd. from May 21 to 23.

Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. General admission costs $20 in advance, $25 beginning May 21 online and at the door, and free for children under two. Face painting, petting zoo and carnival games are available at an additional cost. Parking is free.
