WHAT'S GOING HERE?: Lane reduction on Red Maple Road for sewer construction

Lane reductions are in effect on Red Maple Road in Richmond Hill from mid-April to July to allow for sewer construction.

York Region is constructing a 2.1-kilometre sewer in the area near Yonge Street and Highway 7 and improving two intersections along Highway 7, in the cities of Richmond Hill and Markham.

Where: Red Map Road between Highway 7 to just north of High Tech Road

When: From mid-April to July, weather permitting

What: York Region is constructing a new sewer to move wastewater from the Highway 7 and Yonge Street area to the existing Richmond Hill Collector trunk sewer. Improvements to intersections at Highway 7 and Silver Linden Drive and at Highway 7 and Bayview Avenue Connection Road are also part of the work.
