If you’re looking to help out in your community and keep your city clean, now is your chance.

Green Guardians is Vaughan’s new environmental stewardship program that encourages residents and businesses to get involved in city-led events or create their own community events that promote environmental stewardship.

The program will increase awareness and encourage participation in events taking place throughout Vaughan. It offers an accessible and resourceful database for citizens and businesses alike to learn more about environmental stewardship events, programs and activities.

Funding may be available to those who want to host their own environmental events.

Green Directions Vaughan, the city council-approved strategy and plan to make the community more sustainable and which mandates the delivery of environmental stewardship opportunities to residents, was a driving force in the development of the Green Guardians Environmental Stewardship program.
