Georgina continues with phased reopening of town facilities

In keeping with its safe and phased reopening plan, Georgina is welcoming the public back to a number of town facilities.

The Civic Centre is now open, offering in-person services at the Service Georgina counter located on the first floor.

Appointments are strongly encouraged for issues pertaining specifically to permit, licensing or planning-related matters.

To book an appointment, call 905-476-4301.

Residents can access several services online, such as register for recreational programs, pay a parking ticket or bill, obtain a parking pass or apply for various permits.

The Georgina Animal Shelter will once again welcome visitors April 25. In the interim, visitors can book an appointment to visit the shelter by calling 1-800-898-8606.  

Comedy acts, community theatre and to tribute artists will be taking centre stage once again at the Stephen Leacock Theatre of Performing Arts. Tickets are now available for upcoming performances.

Residents and visitors are still encouraged to self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms prior to entering a town facility.
