The annual Ontario public salary disclosure list -- the Sunshine List -- catalogues each public employee earning $100,000 or more.
In Georgina, 94 employees earned $100,000 or more, excluding any taxable benefits paid. That’s about a four per cent increase compared to 2020 numbers.
Of those on the town’s Sunshine List, 44 work in the fire department, including 42 firefighters.
Mayor Margaret Quirk earned $138,702, including $59,600 from York Regional council. Her salary does not include benefits.
That works out to about $2.91 per Georgina residents -- the fourth highest mayor salary to resident ratio in the region after King Township, East Gwillimbury and Whitchurch-Stouffville.
Regional Coun. Rob Grossi was also on the list, earning $109,648, including $59,600 from the region.
There are three Georgina employees who earned more than $200,000 in 2021.

$250,426 -- CAO, Ryan Cronsberry;
$204,810 -- Fire Chief, director emergency services, Ron Jenkins;
