Portion of Stouffville Main Street set to get facelift this spring

Spring is a time of renewal and, in that spirit, a portion of Main Street in Stouffville is set to get a new look.

The Town of Stouffville is planning to construct a landscaped median along Main Street between Ringwood Drive and Sandiford Drive intersection.

The construction is expected to start April 15 and will take a month with a completion date of May 15, if weather conditions co-operate.

During construction, expect equipment and workers in the work area and there may be traffic delays due to partial lane closures. At least one lane will be always available to traffic in both eastbound and westbound directions.
