UPDATE: York Regional Police seeks witnesses to single-vehicle collision that killed driver in Vaughan

Investigators with York Regional Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that took place the night of March 27 in Vaughan.
Police received a report about a collision and responded to the area of Highway 7 and Pine Valley Drive for a single-vehicle collision.
A 2007 green Toyota Prius going eastbound on Hwy. 7 West attempted to pass other vehicles and struck the center median concrete barrier.
The driver, a 21-year-old man, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators are probing the incident and asking for witnesses with any information to come forward.
Duty Inspector Marc Hilliker said police will not release the identity of the deceased. The driver was a resident of Vaughan.
