East Gwillimbury plans several park and trail openings in 2022

There will be plenty of new parks and trails opening up in East Gwillimbury in 2022.
The town is planning on celebrating several parks, trails and facility openings this year, many of which were delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The new Senior Loft at the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex will have its official opening March 22. The Silk Twist Trail and Beechwood Trail in the Winged Foot Development will have its opening April 20.
The town's new operations centre will have its official opening May 14.
The Civic Centre precinct entrance and multi-use pathway connection will have its official opening May 26.
The Mount Albert Community Centre Park will have its official opening May 28.
The Ridge View Park Phase 2 will have its official opening June 13.
The Vista Hills Park in the Holland Green Development will have its official opening June 13.
Queensville Park will have its official opening June 15.
Children of Peace Park and Trail Connection in Sharon will have its official opening July 19.
The Oriole Trail bridge and boardwalk connection will have its official opening July 20.
Cupples Farms Park in Mount Albert will have its official opening Aug. 24.
Beechwood Park in the Winged Foot development in Holland Landing will have its official opening Sept. 24.
