New COVID-19, cold and flu clinic opening in Georgina

Clinic will provide in-person care for those experiencing cold, flu or COVID-19-like symptoms

The Southlake Community Ontario Health Team (OHT) is opening a COVID-19, cold and flu clinic in Georgina for residents.

The clinic located at Belhaven Hall, 25202 Warden Ave., will open by appointment only and will provide in-person care for those experiencing moderate symptoms.

The clinic is open Thursday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with plans to expand operating hours in the coming weeks.

Operated by Enhanced Care Clinic and GoToDoctor.ca, the clinic will be staffed by physicians, nurses and health care professionals.

“With an ongoing goal of ensuring access to all communities we serve, the COVID-19, cold and flu clinic will provide a convenient option for people experiencing symptoms,” said Southlake Community OHT director Gayle Seddon.

“The Southlake Community OHT is committed to providing connected care and ongoing COVID-19 support throughout this pandemic.”

COVID-19 testing will be available in compliance with provincial eligibility criteria. Travel swabs and testing will not be available at the clinic.
