Local businesses invited to 'Grow with Vaughan' through city program

Businesses can register to sponsor a flower bed, pollinator garden or large flowerpot until March 31

Vaughan businesses can see positive growth in more ways than one via a city initiative that lets them market their products and services, while helping the environment.

Grow with Vaughan, a program offered through the city, gives businesses cost-effective advertising while contributing to the beautification of the neighbourhoods they serve.

There is also a new perk this year.

“In addition to sponsoring a city flower bed, businesses can sponsor a pollinator garden or a large flowerpot,” the city said. “Each location available for sponsorship has been priced based on traffic counts, size and visibility in the surrounding area.”

Registration for this program is open until Thursday, March 31.

Grow with Vaughan is part of the city’s horticulture operations beautification strategy approved on Sept. 27 last year.
