Free Lake Wilcox parking permits now available for residents

Paid parking at Lake Wilcox Park is in effect from April 1 until Sept. 30 each year. Richmond Hill residents can get a free parking permit online at Parking.RichmondHill.ca.

Lake Wilcox Park is one of Richmond Hill's six Destination Parks, attracting visitors from Richmond Hill and across the GTA for its unique combination of beautiful waterfront scenery and family-friendly amenities.

In 2020, the city implemented paid parking to help ensure visitors from outside Richmond Hill contribute to park monitoring and maintenance.

Parking for non-residents and those without permits costs $4 per hour at the Oak Ridges Community Centre, the skate park and the north gravel lots and $5 per hour at the main/splash pad lot.

To help manage traffic and parking in the surrounding area, carpooling is strongly encouraged. In addition, from April 1 through Sept. 30:
