Whitchurch-Stouffville has removed pre-screening and proof of vaccination requirements for entering town facilities. The move was made effective March 1.
The town said the move was consistent with the provincial mandate lifting more public health restrictions as public health indicators improve.
Face coverings and physical distancing requirements remain in place, except when actively participating in a recreation program.
Before you enter a facility, the town asks you to self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms using the information posted at the facility entrance. If you are experiencing symptoms, please do not enter the facility; return home and contact your health care provider or local public health unit to see if you should self-isolate.
