The highrise building boom in Richmond Hill shows no signs of slowing.
Another high-density mixed-use development has been proposed for three buildings to stand 22, 25 and 37 storeys tall at 16th Ave near Yonge Street.
JUST THE FACTS:
Who: Parioli Peak Estates Inc.
Where: 77 and 89 16th Ave
What: A request has been received to amend the official plan and zoning bylaw to approve a Plan of Subdivision for lands on the addresses above. The applications propose a high-density mixed-use development comprising three buildings, 22, 25 and 37 storeys, containing a total of 922 residential units as well as 538 square metres (5,791 square feet) of at-grade commercial space. The proposed development has a total gross floor area of 76,818 square metres (826,862 square feet), a floor space index of 5.47, and 759 parking spaces.
What next: A "complete" development application has been received by the City of Richmond Hill pursuant to the Planning Act. The application has been circulated to city departments and external agencies for review and comment. A Council Public Meeting will be scheduled and held later, with formal notice being provided according to the statutory requirements of the Planning Act.
