Do you know someone always ready to make Aurora a great community?

Why not nominate them for a community recognition award?

“Aurora’s community is enriched because of individuals, groups and businesses that make a positive difference by giving their time, and helping others to make Aurora a thriving community,” a statement from the town said.

“The Town of Aurora is committed to recognizing the passionate efforts of others that contribute to helping local individuals, organizations and groups in a variety of ways, such as being a good neighbour, helping the town foster a greener community or supporting those that need a hand. Aurora’s Community Recognition Awards is the town’s way of highlighting the importance of our volunteers and their contributions made in the community. Recognizing volunteers and their contributions inspires and motivates everyone.”

The award categories are:

(20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years)
