Major collision investigation followup shuts down Hwy. 27 in Woodbridge

York Regional Police have closed a stretch of Hwy. 27 in Woodbridge during the morning of Feb. 10 to conduct a followup to a major collision investigation.

According to a tweet released by YRP, the roadway is expected to be closed at Royal Gate Boulevard and Hwy. 27 for approximately 90 minutes for an investigation starting at 9:30 a.m.

Police have not released details of the collision.

Motorists in the area are advised to seek alternative routes during the course of the morning.
