Emerging from pandemic restrictions: Aurora announces reopening plan for facilities and programs as of Jan. 31

As Ontario begins to emerge from the latest pandemic restrictions on Jan. 31, the Town of Aurora has announced its reopening plan.
As of Jan. 31, the following facilities and programs will reopen at 50 per cent capacity:
Prior to arrival, visitors must complete the screening questionnaire at aurora.ca/covid19 and have their proof of vaccination along with photo ID ready. Mask are required at any town facility.

“The premier’s announcement that ‘the worst is behind us’ is encouraging for all our businesses and residents,” Aurora Mayor Tom Mrakas said.
“Getting back to doing the things we enjoy, supporting our local businesses in-person, seeing our family and friends, and allowing kids to get back to playing the sports they love is extremely important for our economy and our mental and physical well-being. I encourage you all to continue to support our local businesses now and when things open, to visit them in-person.”
